My mom used to make ceramic trees when I was a kid.

I had 2 wax trees and they melted in summer!!!They looked like pine cones !
I know what you mean! I lost a few to the sweltering heat of the attic once. Never again though. I wrap each one in tissue paper and store them in my bedroom closet.
